New Guests Have Success
Posted 06 July 2013, 10:44 pm NDT
Well our new group of guests are settling in well. They had a tremendous fishing yesterday with one guest reporting that he hooked his first fish on the fifth cast.

There were numerous hookups all around the river and we heard that one of our guests; an avid trout angler; landed his first Atlantic Salmon.

This morning began very promising with many anglers reporting having hooked fish before breakfast. The action slowed slightly until the evening, which produced some hard hitting grilse action. You know it is hard hitting grilse action when you are into you backing 3 times.

I saw a couple of adventurous anglers try the rock pile today. They didn't stay long after one of them went for a dip.
