Total of Salmon landed continues to Rise
Posted 11 July 2010, 7:30 am NDT
Yesterday was another great day of fishing. There were moments that the salmon didn't seem to want to take a fly, but persist anglers succeed in increasing the total of fish landed.

Despite the rain our guests landed an average of 3+ fish each. The number of Grilse being landed is increasing.

There seem to be new fish coming into the river every day and the action is still very hot while water temperature is still cold.

One Lower Eagle veteran speculated that the cold water temperature is allowing the fish to maintain their energy levels as they move upriver.
