Long Lasting Fun (larger version)
Water level continues to fall and not much precipitation recorded means that the river will continue to fall for a while yet. There is some relief in sight for the weekend.

Angling is still great, with guides reporting that there are small schools of fish in every little hole you pass over.

One of older gentleman who is our guests landed a beautiful salmon yesterday at Pratts. He had landed many grilse before but, this was his first salmon landed for the trip.

I can guarantee that he enjoyed the experience by his comments afterwards:

"...It was better than sex.......and it lasted longer."
