Young Rookie Guide With Rookie Salmon Angler & 18lb. Hen (larger version)
There was some precipitation for a few hours in the Goose Bay area over the past 36 hours, but we have yet to see any increase in water levels. It may be that the trees and bogs soaked up most of it. There is rain in the forecast for Wednesday which will be welcomed.

There was a slight lull in fishing action yesterday as not one but two seals found their way over the gorge. As you can imagine, the salmon didn't stay long in the pools.

As the evening progressed the action again picked up. One of our guests landed a Beautiful 36" Hen which according to the Salmometer is 18.2 pounds (8.26 kg).
