Sandbar Success (larger version)
There is still nothing positive to report when it comes to water level in the river. Navigation around the river has become very difficult and we have no choice but to land the boats at Governors.

I was also disappointed to see that the rain forecast for tomorrow has now been changed to a 60% chance of showers.

The wind over the past couple of days has made casting a fly line quite a chore for anglers.

A few of our guests have decided to get their waders on and hit the water looking for success.

Our rookie guide took one guest up into the rock pile yesterday with some success. Yet another guest decided to wade on the sandbar.

He ended up landing a beautiful 12 - 14 lb salmon, which fought hard and did an awesome tail walk. Eventually the guest managed to wade back to where the boat was and his guide assisted him in landing the fish.
