River continues to rise
Posted 02 July 2016, 8:25 pm NDT
The river continues to rise, and unfortunately there is more rain in the forecast. We wish we could turn back the taps, but of course mother nature will run her course. Some guests still experienced hookups today but the fishing has slowed as compared to yesterday. We expect it is due to the high, and still rising water.

The one good news story here...the high and cold water is great for the large salmon. This is when most of them are running, and these conditions give them a very good chance of successfully reproducing.

hopefully the river starts falling sooner rather than later. That will almost certainly bring better results for our anglers.
