The River is Full of Fish
Posted 13 July 2011, 8:24 am NDT
Yesterday saw a tremendous increase in the success rate of our anglers.

One of our Guests who has been fishing the Eagle for 20 years says that he has never seen such action. He had what he described as "A Banner Day"

Woodrow (Woody) Lethbridge; Father of Dwight who has guided and fished on the Eagle for many years; figures that it really wouldn't matter where you dropped anchor on the river.

Guests also report that the Grilse that are being caught are larger than those that were being caught earlier in the week.

The rain that persisted most of yesterday has caused the river to rise about 10 cm (4 inches) overnight. This combined with cold weather has lowered the temperature of the river by 2 or 3 degrees.
