Success Continues
Posted 20 July 2011, 9:33 am NDT
The water level is remaining constant, as is the fishing.

The fishing is still great on the Lower Eagle. All our guests had tremendous success again.

One of our anglers spent the previous evening tying a few of his favorite flies. I was very thankful when he gave me one of them. He jokingly warned me that the pattern only hooks big ones.

His claim proved to be correct as yesterday evening he hooked a 145 pounder.

I know it is hard to believe but it is true. Unfortunately for our veteran guide Al he was the one that was hooked.

Oh well; that's just one of the hazards of guiding. Al is fine and was back on the water without missing a beat.
