Last Day For This Group
Posted 21 July 2011, 8:14 am NDT
Today begins the last day for our current group of Guests.

Most were on the river early this morning.

Catch rates were down slightly yesterday. Not because there were no fish, but because the group took the afternoon off and treated themselves and the staff to a beautiful meal of planked salmon.

A couple of our guests spent the morning trout fishing in the bay with Dwight. They were very successful and brought back some awesome sea-run trout.

The river level dropped a couple of inches since yesterday but may rise over the next couple of days if the heavy rain shower we had last evening fell inland like it did here.

All the staff are anxiously awaiting the next group of anglers. Our next group are the rookies that had such a fantastic time last year that they re-booked for this season. We expect them to have another successful trip.
