The Fishing Is Getting Harder
Posted 03 August 2011, 12:53 pm NDT
The fishing is getting harder. Only a few of our guests were able to land fish yesterday.

Numerous fish were seen around the river yesterday, but only a few would rise, and fewer again would actually take a fly.

Water levels are still dropping; but finally there is rain in the long range forecast.

The forecast of rain will do little for our current guests, unfortunately.

One of the guides from another camp told me yesterday that he had guests over to White Bear River and the situation was very similar.

There were fish there but only one fish was hooked.
