Love the videos and pics of the lodge.I also love the flybox section of the site. I noticed that the flies look very familiar to me almost identical to mine.great job

Amazing website with great pics. This looks like a great spot for salmon fishing and a wonderful place to relax after a day on the water.

Having chased salmon in Nfld. since my grandmother first put a fly rod in my hands over 50 years ago, I thought I knew what a salmon fishing trip was all about. Well, it turns out I was wrong! I finally accompanied(after many years of cajoling) my friend, Dave Fong, on his annual trip to the Eagle in July this year. Having a 12 lb. salmon on the the end of a fly line at 5:30 in the morning definately was a different experience. And, that was just the start of a weeks worth of fishing! Anyone who considers themselves a fly-fisherman HAS to make a trip to the Eagle. Pratt Falls Lodge itself is second to none on the river. The guides, management, and staff are all top-notch. The cabins are spacious, and the food great. Will I go back? Next year, Dave, next year.

I fished the Eagle River in 2006, 7 and 8 with success most of us can only dream about.Facilities, guides and management were courteous and met every need.Sunrises and sunsets make "Kodak moments".It is a place where you can actually wear out some salmon flies in less than a week and if you enjoy fishing Bomber dry flies you will think you are in heaven!Best wishes to the new owners and I will be back to renew acquaintances soon.

I have fished the Eagle River for the past 9 years as a member of the Crane group. During that time I experienced excellent fishing and met a lot of real nice people. In my opinion the Eagle River offers the best fishing in the world. I would like to congratulate and wish Dwight and Mitch all the best in their new business venture. These are two wonderful gentlemen that have plenty experience and I know will do whatever it takes to give their guests and true fishing adventure. They also have an excellent supporting cast in Woody and Dave (fathers) that has fished the Eagle River for many many years. I love the name you chose as it is very fitting. I enjoyed your website and can agree with everything on there. Again guys good luck, take care and I will see you this summer.

I caught my first Atlantic Salmon in PrattFalls pool about 15 years ago . It was my first trip to the Eagle River and I have been back almost every year since . My fishing buddies were Dave Fong , Woodrow Lethbridge ( Mitch and Dwight's fathers )and Steve Sparkes who dip netted that first Salmon for me. To say that the Eagle is a great river is an understatment !! It is an absolutely fabulous river to fish !! If you are a salmon fisherman and you have not fished the Eagle then do yourself a favor and book a trip NOW !! Talk to anyone that has fished there and ask them to compare the experience to other Atlantic rivers !! The number of Fish , variety of pools , and challange landing the big ones makes the trip worthwhile! I used to think " It's so far to get to , why don't I just go somewhere closer " but boy I will tell you I never think that way any more. You just do not get the same level of action elsewhere. A bad day on the Eagle is like a Great day somewhere else and well I guess you know that means that a good day on the Eagle is over the top and a fantastic day on the Eagle is what you dream about !!
I now fish the Eagle for at least a week every year and plan to do so till I die . My son and brother in law come with me andhopefully they will always do so.
Last summer was the first year under new Management for Pratt Falls Lodge and myself and some friends were umoung the first guests hosted by the new owners.
They did a great job ! Food and accomodations were great and the fishing was even better. I could tell right off that Mitch and Dwight were into this not only because they grew up on the river and love to fish themselves but also because they want to provide their guests with a first class experience . They want to see you having fun catching fish ! I believe that this is a passion of theirs and if you check it out in 20 years they will still be there offering you the opportunity to fish some of the most prolific Atlantic Salmon Pools in the worl...
