Late Birthday Gift
Posted 06 August 2013, 10:07 am NDT
The water level started to rise a little yesterday. We are not sure that this trend will continue or not. This will be determined by the amount of rain that fell on the plateau. With the forecast showing little more in the way of precipitation.

Our anglers have had some success raising, but fish don't seem to want to fly very well. This may be because of the rising water.

Although fishing is more challenging due to the abnormally low river conditions most of our new anglers have had success.

The two new guests who joined us yesterday have hooked fish with one of them landing one this morning.

Another who joined us on Sunday landed one this morning. His companion hooked into two yesterday; this was his first experience angling for salmon. We are confident that he will land a fish before he leaves.

Yet another of our guests who celebrated his 45th birthday on Sunday was successful yesterday in landing his first ever Atlantic Salmon. I guess you could consider it a late birthday gift.
