Rod Breaking Beauty! (larger version)
As Dwight indicated in our last Blog Entry fishing has been tough with our high water levels.

I am very happy to report that our guests are having more success as the water levels begin to drop. Fish are still showing all around the river and our guests are enjoying a higher success rate.

One of our guests was very fortunate to land a gorgeous 12kg (26lb)Salmon yesterday in Lem's Lane. His guide Ron tells us that is the biggest Fish one of his guests has landed since he joined our team.

It was a mixed blessing of sorts because he snapped his new rod in the battle but quickly grabbed the fly line and landed the prize with Ron's assistance.

Congratulations Louis!
