Bud hooks up with his first grilse. A small one, but the excitement was contagious! (larger version)
We had more guests depart over the last few days and now we have a little break before our next group arrives. The fishing has been great! Water levels are prime and water temp is at 65F. The fish are not holding really well with such good water conditions for them to continue the journey, but the results have still been good.

Guests over the last week averaged 4 fish each per day, and we were quite impressed with the high percentage of large holding strong at around 30%. Some really nice maxi-grilse in the mix as well hitting the 62-63 cm length and 6-7lbs. Really chunky beauties!

We will leave you with a great pic of Bud with his first ever grilse, and testimonial from his pal, Ryan.

"Home from an Amazing trip to Pratt Falls Salmon lodge on the Eagle River! Caught approx 100 salmon between myself and Bud Churchill! Truly a Trip of a lifetime, special thanks to Dwight Lethbridge and his staff for making this such a memorable trip! Our guide Nelson for making our time fishing the best possible!"
