Last Guests Of The Season Arrive
Posted 14 August 2011, 6:27 am NDT
Our last group of guests arrived yesterday evening. They are all first time anglers on the Eagle River from Norway.

They seem excited to begin their adventure, despite one of them having all his salmon flies taken by security in Halifax.

The water level in the river is still very low and they will only have 2 locations to fish. Basically the only water that is can be fished now is the Air Force Pools and Pratt Falls.

We are hopeful that they will have good fishing but that remains to be seen.

They do have a couple of things in their favor. Last night was a full moon and there is actually rain in the forecast for the Goose Bay area. Hopefully the rain is not too little too late.
