A few snaps from our 3rd group of 2019! (larger version)
If there has ever been a year of slow and steady improvement, we think this is it! I guess it is in direct relationship with the slow and steady improvement of water conditions. The certainty is that there are tons of atlantic salmon in this river!

This is changeover day and our departing group has done well hooking up with 100s of salmon and grilse. They are an experienced group and this is their 11th year straight fishing with us. Some of them have been coming to the Eagle for over 20yrs!! That's a lot of commitment to this sport. Hats off to you guys!

The weather is cool and windy right now. The river has fallen to 2.7m and continues the downward trend. With a forecast of moderate temps and just chances of showers, we're thinking it's excellent news for the next group, too!

On a totally different note, myself and Hedley went on an exploratory trip to the North River yesterday. We found some lovely pools and a couple of salmon in them. Check out our instagram to see the video.
